From 5th march,2023 , flipkart axis cc will not give any cashback on gift card purchases and utility bill payments.Hence, the card remains good only for flipkart grocery purchases.🥲🥺
Hope that Axis doesn't do the same with their ACE cc.😴

Closed mine too. Got a LTF myzone instead before closing fk axis.

Reasons:
  • Got other alternatives which pays 5% on FK (sbi cb / millennia and best is GV via infinia)
  • Exclusion list makes this cc next to useless for large txns on government and education spends.
  • 1.5% offline and other regular places is too low for a cashback oriented cc.
  • 500 yearly charges no longer makes much sense.
The only advantage would probably be if I buy a product greater than 1L, which can still be done using fk GV bought via hdfc cc @ 5% + sbi cb combined payment.

If you have FK Axis LTF then it does not make any sense to close it since there can always be MCC mismatch and you may lose out on 5% cashback... having a Flipkart exclusive CC protects you from this
SBI is even more difficult and acts on wimps and fancies than Axis does. The CB Card has taken multiple hits already, just within a year of launch. The Flipkart Axis card still has lounge access all be it limited, gives better cashback for offline spends than SBI CB. Also, despite devaluation, Axis Grabdeals can give you a bit more of additional value than the standard 5 percent on Flipkart. And as its LTF, think you should definitly keep it. I have a paid card and I am keeping it.
