Axis Gyftr - Amazon Shopping voucher limit Reduced to 10K from 50k?

It seems Amazon SV limit reduced to 10k from 50k this month. i can't place more than 10k Amazon GV even though terms conditions still saying we are allowed upto 50k .

I get this message if trying to buy more than 10k Amazon GV

Sorry, you cannot place order amount more than INR 10000 worth of Amazon Shopping Voucher Gift Vouchers in this month

Terms of the Offer:

  • All the Gift Vouchers are valid for a minimum of 3 months to 12 months depending upon the Brand. The Exact Expiry Date of the Gift Voucher will be mentioned on the Voucher E-Mail / SMS
  • It is important for the customer to utilize the Gift Voucher within the due date. Gift Vouchers once expired cannot be revalidated
  • A customer (registered mobile number) can buy a maximum of Rs. 10,000 worth of Amazon Pay Gift Cards in a calendar month.
  • A customer (registered mobile number) can buy a maximum of Rs. 50,000 worth of Amazon Shopping Vouchers in a calendar month.
  • A customer (registered mobile number) can buy a maximum of Rs. 10,000 worth of Flipkart Gift Cards in a calendar month.
  • A customer (registered mobile number) can buy a maximum of Rs. 20,000 worth of TATA CLiQ Gift Vouchers in a calendar month.

Hopefully it's bug, not actual limit reduction.

When I bought 240+960 worth of Myntra vouchers(after discount), I got 129 + 518 ER points. So I think we should get points on 125 worth vouchers although I haven't tested that exact scenario yet.
Kindly post screenshot of the same.. what was your tnx date? And what do you mean by 125 worth voucher (I can't see any)?

Are you sure? I purchased 960 myntra gv and got 432 bonus points only.

Edit: Attached screenshot
Maybe they gave me bonus points since total cart amount was 1200? Doesn't make sense though.

Posted ss above.

By 125 I meant the fractional part of 4925. I thought it would attract points too. Now I am not so sure .

Edit: Transaction date was 17Dec
you will not receive points on fractional part of 4925. Axis consider the total transaction value as part of reward calculation, not individual cart values. you will get =4800/200 = 24 * 12 *5 = 1440 points. (assuming this is 5x reward). you will get 1x in few day and remaining 4x after 90 days or so.

In this case, Total transaction value is = 1200. So Axis gives 72 ER as 1x and another 648 as remaining 9x part of Myntra 10x deal. But for bonus ponits, they are splitting this 9x part into individual Gift card values in proportion of transaction. In your example , you have 2 Gift cards 240 (after discount) and 960 (after discount). so they divided in the following way

for 240 Myntra Gift card = 648 * (240/1200) = 129.6 ER
for 960 Myntra Gift Card = 648 * (960/1200) = 518.4 ER

in both cases, they eliminated decimal value and gave you 129 ER and 518 ER as bonus points.

How many 1X points did you receive individually and in total?

Total cart value is considered only because of same brand GV or same multiplier GV? For bonus only or 1X also?
Because if 960rs Myntra GV was added with 250rs Amazon GV in cart, then total transaction value couldn't be considered for bonus calculation

So in that case if we purchase 2 gift voucher of 500 value, total cart value is 1000 rs then we will get ER for 1000 not 800 (like 400, 400) ?

Since it was a single transaction I got 72 points as 1X

Hopefully this transaction helps. i made single transaction with different brand GV with different multiplier GV. These bonus points already credited, so i can confirm calculation is pretty accurate.

It seems there's a loss of points in GV purchased in multiples of 200 (like Myntra & Amazon) and a gain of points in Swiggy. So, not advisable to combine such GV in a single cart??

Depends, in that above example, i got more than expected in combined cart than individual. it worked out better. But generally, i would prefer to do separate orders and round them close to possible 200 if feasible for ease of use.

One doubt: Similar restriction of 10k was already present for flipkart gift card but if I use link from grab deal axis and buy something of 30k, will I get 5x edge points of full 30k or is it limited to 10k as well?
