Axis IOCL LTF Application (trick) via Amazon (Pay) app

I was making utility bill payments on Amazon Pay using the Amazon app and saw a banner ad for LTF IOCL card.
I clicked on it and it opened the application process. It asked me for Axis customer ID and entered the OTP.



If you notice the Referral Code you can see it is pre-populated as Class1auto which you cannot change.

I then continued the application and filled in all details in the subsequent pages. And then it showed me this.



In addition it showed MyZone also as LTF. It also showed eligibility for all Axis cards except Reserve including Magnus which I already have but all with joining and Annual fees. I submitted the application and received the application number.

So I think it is the Class1auto referral code that does the trick to get it LTF?

A couple of hours later I received a call asking they can send someone for verification the next day. I said yes and typical for Axis no one showed up and no communication since. Called up CC but they have no visibility about the application process. Waiting to know what will happen.

Even if you directly start from Axis bank page also, My Zone and IOCL variants are available as LTF

I had tried that previously but it showed to me as charged (Rs.500).

So, why did you begin the application using the customer id?
you are not an Axis customer and the bank will reject your application within 7 to 10 working days.

he is an axis magnus cc customer, he doesn't have bank account with axis

If you merely have an AXIS credit cards, you are not an AXIS bank customer, you must also have an AXIS bank account.

Axis will reject your application if you just have credit cards and choose existing customer while applying for a new credit card.

I also applied for my zone ltf from axis site on 25th aug.Only application reference number generated & no communication since.Also tried to reach cc they are saying it will take 10 working days to process if it's no processed by then only I can contact them to take a complain.

I have axis savings account also FK Axis card

How did you establish this one-to-one correlation? Did they specify wrongly claiming oneself as an Axis customer as being the reason for the rejection?!

Not in the case of Axis. They only consider Axis savings account holders to existing customer. Only credit card customer has to go through as new customer, all verifications will be done.

I was able to apply NEO LTF, Lets see if application approves, Already hold Flipkart & Saving account with them.

If it approves will close flipkart as it is paid & I don't use it much now.
