Axis Magnus Axis Magnus without Burgundy received as 12500 Joining & LTF

Hello TF Community,

I have recently posted the thread asking to help me decide in Axis Magnus without Burgundy and i decided to go for it for first year.

I applied for Magnus as it was pre-approved in the app as 12500rs joining and 12500rs annual charges.



Today, i received the physical card and i am surprised to see that annual fees mentioned is 0 Rupees!



I think this is a good deal. Even if i use Meet & Greet, Lounge Access, Eazydiner Offer for 1 year along with Yatra Gift Card of 12500 Rs. It's total value for money.

I am not looking to make this primary card as i already have,
1. Axis Atlas
2. Axis Vistara Signature
In my wallet!

To be sure, i have sent email to Axis to get written confirmation for LTF magnus.

Anyone here received similar deal? Have you confirmed it from Axis?

UPDATE: No email confirmation from Axis Bank. But received confirmation by Chat Support.

No idea, need to see if renewal fee gets charged in 1-2 days or not. Either way it will be upgraded to another card in 1 week or so. So it won't matter, as new card is LTF for Burgundy anyway.

ok got it! Your current card is MC or Visa? I have received MasterCard Magnus and i want to apply for add-on but RM saying mastercard magnus add-on request is usually declined.

i contacted twice to chat support, both confirmed same thing. Second time i just asked joining and annual fees without mentioning welcome kit, that time also got confirmation that annual fee is 0.

Got charged renewal fee today, so it wasn't converted to LTF. Just reversed joining fee.

So, to understand your case.
1. You have burgundy account
2. You maintain 10L balance / salary
3. U have magnus so it will be free of cost till u maintain burgundy account.
4. Still u got charged for joining & renewal.
5. You are waiting for new magnus card.

1-2 yes.
3- New card will be free, not current one. Although customer care once confirmed over call that current one is LTF, but later denied over email. There was Twitter post also saying fees will be waived from 1st September And hence I asked for waiver of renewal fee.
4. Yes, but joining fee got reversed on complaint.

LTF or even FYF Magnus makes a lot of sense.

Just worried about the conversion ratio, if and when Axis will fix it for burgundy users.
Still hard to decide whether it's worth opening a new Burgundy just for this.

1. Yes applied from same pre approved section screen.
2. Credit limit will be shared between all Axis Credit Cards
3. CIBIL - maybe they check cibil as soft enquiry. No hard inquiry visible.
4. Dont know about upgrade process.
5. No relation with account unless its burgundy!

For me it's taking to application page and there's a note for agreeing to credit bureau check - is it the same for everyone or do people see pre-approved offers even before the application? I have 2 axis cards

Since you have 2 Axis cards you are eligible for a third Axis card
for some people it will do a credit bureau check (because their CIBIL score may have gone down since their last card was issued).
Others may see pre- approved offers based on their payment history and usage.

After that,
1) when will I get a new Magnus burgundy card?
2) will it be lifetime free ?
3) when will the 5:4 ratio get activated?
4) will I also get a free Select credit card?
5) Will I also get a free burgundy debit card?

1-3 No one knows , we all are waiting
4 . As as of now , as soon as your account in Burgundy , you can ask for a LTF select credit card
5. If you don't get a Burgundy debit card on activation kit , you can call costumer care and ask for debit card upgarde .

I do not have any credit cards with Axis but have a salary account, so when I click on the Apply Now, it takes me to a page where I need to enter my Customer ID and DOB. At this point the app is frozen and is stuck in loading. When I tried the same ok the web page, after I enter my Customer ID and DOB, the web page then asks to confirm my details. In that, it asks for Office address and does not proceed if Office Address is not entered. Is there another way to proceed so that I can check the credit cards that are pre approved?
