Axis Probably Hates me 😔

So, it's been a year since I have been trying to get an Axis CC. it is declined every time I try.

I own an

1. HDFC Moneyback card
2. Kotak Royal Signature CC
3. Onecard FD
4. ICICI platinum FD

But no matter what I do, I can't get an Axis Credit Card not even the lowest card (My family member own an AXIS card, who lives in the same location). The highest limit on my card is INR 75,000. I'm 20. Last year's ITR was close to 4.2L.

One thing to note is - I used to have an AXIS Current Account, but I closed it. Before I tried applying for a Card.

Is there anything I could do? I tried asked axis branch to do Card to Card with HDFC, but they said limit was too low.

Did you try to apply Freecharge credit card?
I had also faced same problem from Axis Bank. Whenever I applied, application rejected within minutes. I also thought same what you think now. In last July, freecharge card was approved. Now I have Ace and FK card also with Freecharge Card. So never lose hope 👍

I'll suggest you to look into cobranded axis credit card , such as Google pay ace, Flipkart axis or freecharge axis. Once you get it after 2-3 months try again.

yes, tried Axis Flipkart no luck. But thanks, will try with other.

Tried, but the branch say my limit of 75K is too low for any axis card.

Did you try to apply Freecharge credit card?

If you're Airtel user, apply for Axis Airtel CC through Airtel Thanks app. My first card from Axis was that only. Approved so easily.
I had only Moneyback CC on my CIBIL at that time. With 1Lac limit.

me too same issue 😂 axis rejects within few minutes even though have major banks card with high limits but after years of experience I came to know that in this case Axis probably needs us to open a bank account with them and in next 3-6 months boom we have a credit card simple

Open a savings account and then apply... U can open easy access account in rural branch with just 2500 mab.... I also did same... My card got approved in 2 minutes.....

If you can, get a Citibank credit card. Upon migration your card will be converted to an Axis card as per rules. Migration is hardly 4-6 months away.

Citibank card is even harder to get. They need so much of documentation and still rejects.

Correct, but as anyway Axis is always rejecting his applications, no harm in trying Citicard. They are approving rather easily now a days

Pretty much same happened with me. Then after few tries for Axis FK. After that they gave MyZone and Magnus.

Luckily I had no relationship with Axis but still I got my 1st card LTF from Axis with all digital way, no sweat.

Got my 2nd card Magnus within 2weeks over thr phone with CCare no sweat there as well.

But struggling now for my 3rd card of Samsung Infinite as bank says some stupid rule of 3months wait from last obtained card 🙄 (which wasn't the case when I got my Magnus in Oct)

Incase of phone banking, rule of 3months won't applicable. But incase of any online application we have to wait 3months
