Axis Salary Account Debit Card - 1% cb on cc bill payments

There was an option of block/replace debit card in the app/website. I saw option to replace my Master Card again with a Master Card for some fee and free Rupay atm card. I thought maybe I can get Visa by replacing MC with rupay and again with visa. I replaced MC with Rupay atm card. This is just for withdrawing money no online/offline txns can be done. Now when I tried to upgrade it doesnt allow. CS too couldnt and they said the debit card upgrade options may come in a month or so, only then I can upgrade. Nothing can be done. Will see how this goes.


tldr: no way to upgrade mc to visa .

1) I have Prestige savings account, can I convert it to Priority salary account if I credit my salary for 2,3 months into my savings account?

2) Will opening such savings->salary account get the cashback as mentioned?

1. Yes should be possible, talk to RM or visit branch. Once converted check the code
2. Yes you will get cashback
3. No I am not maintaining balance only salary credit every month

Great. Thanks! Any other pointers I should take care about before converting the account? Also, if I understood it right, I can pay any other bank credit card bills using Axis salary debit card but the cashback is capped at 750 per month?
