Guys, will the renewal and milestone benefits remain active on the AXIS VISTARA SIGNATURE CC after the Air India merger?
My card renewal in on 07JAN25. Should I renew and expect the same points and vouchers for AIR INDIA?
Or is it better to close/upgrade the card?

They are renewing all cards only until 31 March 25. If your card is renewing after this date, then you will not be able to renew it and it will close on 31MAR25.

Yes, you will still get the benefits.

The terms within the program might have been changed, Air India points might not be as valuable as Vistara points but yes, from the bank's point of view, everything will remain the same.

Keeping will make sense. They might change the product in some time, maybe VI card holders will be directly shifted to some other card. Axis will definitely have a card with Air India

Wrong news. Air India will include Premium Economy along with Business and Economy. This will make Air India match Vistara Standards. All its current planes will start undergoing the whole transition from March 2025 onwards. The new A320neo with the new livery which arrived from Toulouse in September already has a 3-class configuration.

You will have to pay for the renewal one last time as your card will be valid till 31st March 2026. Axis and all other brand Vistara cards will cease to exist after 31st March 2026.
Air India is working with Axis, ICICI, and Indusind to bring out new cards. Chances are that Axis Vistara Card holders will be migrated to the the Air India card.

You will be getting Maharaja Club points but there won't be any further milestones with your current card.

Same here, as I don't see any benefit in flying Business Class with AI (poor AI 😀 ).

Voucher is still being given. Gold membership was stopped

Maybe 2 years from you'll be the one praising Air India Aircraft and it's interiors.

I’ve renewed both sbi vistara prime & axis vistara sig … having plans to spend 4.5L on both … let’s see how it goes 🙄 in future .
