AXIS Vistara Credit Card after the merger

TF Buzz
Guys, will the renewal and milestone benefits remain active on the AXIS VISTARA SIGNATURE CC after the Air India merger?
My card renewal in on 07JAN25. Should I renew and expect the same points and vouchers for AIR INDIA?
Or is it better to close/upgrade the card?

Yes, you will still get the benefits.

The terms within the program might have been changed, Air India points might not be as valuable as Vistara points but yes, from the bank's point of view, everything will remain the same.

So we’ll still get the comp business class ticket?

Also can you give an idea how much roughly is the difference in the value in terms of CV for any sector?

Card is due for renewal in a month and Gold status has already been updated. Do you think it’s worth keeping?

Personally I am closing my card in next few days. Not worth anymore.

Heard AI is also planning to remove Business class seats from flight and turn in 100% economy

Wrong news. Air India will include Premium Economy along with Business and Economy. This will make Air India match Vistara Standards. All its current planes will start undergoing the whole transition from March 2025 onwards. The new A320neo with the new livery which arrived from Toulouse in September already has a 3-class configuration.

If the card renewal is after 31st march then what to do ?
You will have to pay for the renewal one last time as your card will be valid till 31st March 2026. Axis and all other brand Vistara cards will cease to exist after 31st March 2026.
Air India is working with Axis, ICICI, and Indusind to bring out new cards. Chances are that Axis Vistara Card holders will be migrated to the the Air India card.
Any idea how to best use Axis Vistara Cards after the devaluation to complete milestones?
You will be getting Maharaja Club points but there won't be any further milestones with your current card.

Same here, as I don't see any benefit in flying Business Class with AI (poor AI 😀 ).

Moreover, correct me if I am wrong, Axis has devalued these credit card and stopped issuing any Flight ticket voucher on renewal of the credit card.

Maybe 2 years from you'll be the one praising Air India Aircraft and it's interiors.
Oh yes. About Axis, no more milestone benefits.

Glimpse of the new Business class

Milestone benefits are still available… nothing has been changed in terms of RP and milestone benefits . You will be getting PE vouchers @1.5, 3, 4.5L …
