But practically speaking, i think Amex Plat Travel is the most rewarding card in their portfolio right now, followed by MRCC

You can't get black even if you want. It's purely invitation basis for some hand picked personal.

BTW best card is based on personal spend so no one can suggest a best card without knowing of person's spending pattern.

It all depends on Individual lifestyle and spend pattern.
Black is invite only and this is for people who can spend in lakhs or crores in one swipe not for others.
Best so far for salaried are plat travel mrcc and gold cc.
Gold cc is a charge card basic good for uiltilities payment and fuel who are regular for paying utilities and fuel.
Mrcc is for mid entry whose spends eternally don't exceed 2.5lakhs
Plat travel the best for travellers who can spend 4lakhs a calender year. After this rewards dip but if one spends may get offer for upgrade to plat chg.
Plat charge for people who travel a lot and regular and who start regularly in 5 stars hotel for tier benefit and additional points 5x or 3x regular spends.
Smart earn card is the basic of amex cards a entry level and it is the stepping stone to get into amex this card gets regular zomato and swiggy offers and for salaried who's is less than 5lakhs ctc 4.5 lakhs is eligible salary for smart earn and to experience Amex portfolio. This card is regular spends on swiggy zomato budget hotels - why I said budget hotels because limit they give usually less.

Mostly any amex card can be used for Voucher purchase for 5x or 3x based on amex card holder type on reward multiplier all amex card gives spend every 50 INR 1 MR point except plat chg and Centurion 1MR point for every 40INR.
