Does SBI Vistara prime card give 4CV points on payment of rent?
Which card is better of rent payment

Sbi charges flat ₹199 + gst (is this info correct)?

Paid my rent using IDFC Vistara and below were the charges through housing app:
Rent was: 40k
Housing added taxes of: 961
IDFC took - Rent payment surcharge: 409.61 & IGST: 73.73

So for 40 k rent I ended up paying: 41443

Not sure how much SBI is charging.

Why don't you use RedGirraffe? It only charges 0.39% + GST.

I also pay rent using my IDFC Club Vistara through RedGiraffe.

Rent - 55k
RedGiraffe Charges - 0.39% + GST (18%) = 253
IDFC Rent Surcharge - 1% + GST (18%) = 652
Total paid - 55905 (extra 905)

Once bill is generated, pay the bill with HDFC Platinum Debit Card from SBI Unipay and get 1% back on the amount (excluding surcharge), in this case - 552. So net net I paid 352 extra for the rent payment. This also fetches CV points as it falls in 1 per 200 category, so I get 276 points and counts towards milestone.

Recently, PayZapp has removed the support of other bank credit cards for rent payments. In that case, can use the IDFC app.

Net Banking > Cards > Debit Cards > Cash Back Enquiry and Redemption

Now that Vistara is merged, is this still beneficial?
Wondering if there are any other options.

Is it possible to use Amex in any fashion for rent payments with reasonable charges (~1-1.5%) ?
