Best Debit Card for Withdrawing Cash from International ATMs in Vietnam and Thailand with Minimal Fees?

Hello everyone,

I'm on a trip to Vietnam and Thailand, and I'm looking for a debit card that allows me to withdraw cash from ATMs with zero or minimal withdrawal fees. I'd love to hear about your experiences and recommendations.

- Which banks or financial institutions offer the best debit cards for this purpose?
- Are there any specific cards that have consistently low fees or even no fees for international ATM withdrawals in these countries?
- Any tips on avoiding extra charges or maximizing exchange rates?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Their website shows 200 since long time.

When I went to Bali in June'24, I was charged Rs.100 (No GST) for each withdrawal. Their website showed Rs.200 even before that.

I went Bali in may, before that last checked in April 24
That time it was showing 100 and charged me 100..
May be they were in transition period in june

I took it as soon as it launched, so SBM. I asked them if I can change it to YES and they said no option for it.
I probably wont get YES since I already have a marquee card form YES. So kept UNI SBM
It's actually good to have it from SBM so from Yes Bank one can get other good credit cards like Kiwi or Marqeee or Yes Reserv

Fi Federal debit card works everywhere, tried in several countries! 100 rs. and 3.5% is charged initially and the 3.5% is always refunded in a few days. At times the 100 is also refunded with txn caption of 'cashback', but I am not sure why that is. I used to be on their 'Plus plan' which requires 10k balance and later 'Infinite plan' which requires 50k.

the 100 cashback is part of their campaign that's been running for 2 or 3 months or so now.
the refund of 3.5% is because on the infinite plan on Fi. The only charge I had in Thailand was the 220 thb for using that bank's atam and it was charged by that bank and not Fi. still Fi card is good in my opinion (if you can hold onto the infinte plan)

Thanks for clarifying re: the cashback. The 220 THB is unavoidable at Thai ATMs as far as I am aware

For the Infinite 50k plan, do you keep the amount as your balance on your Fi account, or is it deposited in one of their FDs?
