Best Salary acc 2025 for 2.5L net salary credit

I spoke to a sales person from HSBC. He was willing to get me HSBC premier for a salary of ~2.75+ on a condition that the company will be onboarded into HSBC (basically should not already have a tie up with HSBC). He was also willing to get me a HSBC premier CC as LTF with no joining fees

I will keep you all updated with how the talks go with ICICI
Can you confirm the no joining fees part..??
Yes this is true for my wife to they were willing to consider premier below 3 if she would get tie up done at her company.

I spoke to multiple people at HSBC, they said no waivers on the joining fee, but they told me that i would get 12k worth of Taj vouchers

Update on the HSBC situation:
I was able to open a premier account on the HSBC mobile app by uploading my offer letter.

I later got a call from my assigned RM who told me that he would try to get approvals for an exception on the 3L min salary limit as my company was not onboarded onto the HSBC companies list. He also told me this would be for the conversion to a "true premier customer" and I would be able to avail all the benefits of a premier customer

So ur below the 3 mark & ur company is not on the list..??
He is getting approval for which below 3L criteria or no company tie up..?

HSBC would only work for people living in the metro city right?
If my office is in Bangalore and I work remote and visit Bangalore rarely would they consider it?

Usually HSBC account opening process is online.
Physical visit to branch or physical account opening is usually not required.

So WFH and office in the Bangalore should work fine.

I am also WFH employees and rarely visit office.
But I am in Delhi NCR. But recently my RM, who is in delhi, got the account opened for mt colleague who is in pune.

So you can try your luck with HSBC.
IMO, it should go through.

Credit card application may be the problem as credit card require serviceable PIN code.

I am almost at the same position even as of now. My salary credit is a little more than 2L per month. But my ITR is around 35-40L due to RSUs and bonuses etc.

My Current active CC portfolio:
  • AMEX Plat Travel
  • Axis Atlas
  • HDFC Tata Neu Infinity
  • HDFC Marriott Bonvoy
I also have the below bank accounts
  • HDFC Preferred (Salary)
  • ICICI Wealth Banking (Salary)
  • SBI Regular Savings (primary)
Running two separate salary accounts is not possible to continue for long. At one point, they will convert it to a regular savings account due to non-salary credit. I want to close one salary account account, even if that means giving up on the benefits of other. I may go with HDFC because ICICI is not easy to deal with. Or else, I will ditch both and go to Axis Burgundy. I am just waiting to get Regalia Gold, I will take a decision after that.

ICICI Previlege - I took it to get started on ICICI journey. EPVC LTF is fine for me, I am not looking for EPM. + An upgrade to WM account. None of these are working now. For WM they are asking for 3L salary credit and EPM is out of reach with 2L salary. So it's just hanging around there.
How did you get EPVC LTF?
