Best Salary account in terms of benefits

Enthusiast

Dear all,

In my next company, salary account is offered by HDFC, ICICI, SBI, InduInd & SC.. So, i have to choose one and I already have following relations with few

1) HDFC - Classic account - Platinum debit - Millenia & Tata Neu card
2) SBI - Savings account only
3) ICICI - Only Amazon pay credit card
No relationship with IndusInd and SC...

Please let me know the best bank account to have in terms of additional benefits like services/Credit card upgrades/limit enhancements/ Debit card benefits...

Have to choose from these {HDFC, ICICI, SBI, InduInd & SC}.. So, as per your recommendation, IndusInd...
Go with indusind, you will get premium card as lifetimefree.. if over the time salary is more than 1.5 / 2 lacs, you will get super premium debit and credit cards also.
One suggestion- initially every bank gives offer of normal card (everyone wants to save money), don't accept it, they will ask reason tell you are not interested in this basic card.. after some time they will offer better card..

If you can keep that as your main account for a long time even if you leave your current company with the avg balance requirements then SC is good - Simple, great service and integrated demat+trading+investment etc with minimum RM hassles. HDFC, Axis, Indus accounts are largely similar but they are so big that you will be one of many.. no special services unless you give them business.. CCs are definitely good in hdfc and axis as options..again if u give them additional biz with relatively poor service.. sbi is a no no

I too want to open a new Salary Account for myself..
My current available options:
HDFC- I have Savings Max rn.

IndusInd- Zero Balance Select Add-on Account

ICICI- Initially it was opened as salary account, but later employer changed salary account to SBI so it automatically converted to Savings, though 0 MAB, their system fault, my gain 🤣

SBI- Current Salary A/C (which I want to change)
Axis- Only CC with them, No Savings A/C.

Suggestions are welcome!!

Only bad thing with moving sal account to axis is that they'd know your exact income details

Not something I'd like because of cc eligibility and all
Yeah, and then they will do their so called "natak" in solving any financial issue or a new cc application or anything which they want 🥲 Ax-is 🙉

SC has less branches, If account is opened from city branch (office branch) , and in situations like COVID/Cash requirement in another city, there is drawback because cash transactions will not be possible.

Real example - I had to buy gold of 3 lacs offline, and needed cash, My hdfc branch was other place but I went to another hdfc branch and did the cash transaction.
Also, If someone wants to get benefit of family banking, than also it's an issue.

IndusInd / Hdfc are beneficial in such situations. In a big city they will have multiple branches.
