Hello folks,

Me and my wife are planning for a 7-8 days trip in the month of August. As this is mainly rainy season, most of the places would be bit difficult to explore within India.

Welcoming any suggestion about a perfect place to explore!!!

India or other countries within Asia (should be within 2-2.5L budget)

India or other countries within Asia (should be within 2L budget)
1. Jammu & Kashmir and Ladak ( 7-8 days trip )

2. Cherrapunji , Arunachal Pradesh and Bhutan ( 8-10 days trip )

3. Japan ( 5-7 days trip )

----------------------------------

On a lighter note : Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran ( 1 or max 2 days trip ) 😛 😉

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!!! 😀

Turkey would be over my budget I suppose

Doesn’t Bali experience heavy rain fall that time of the year?

No brother… probably I will just book the tickets from yes rewardz page to consume the marquee welcome gift points
Then u can try Maldives, phuket , Bali if u r beach person. In India u can try jw marriott walnut grove hotel, u can also try Bhutan, Colombo. Always compare ur flight rate through google flights before u book .

Yes I will do that!!! I generally check Skyscanner before going ahead

Will give priority to yes rewardz portal even id there is 1-2% deviation in the price 😅

However, I won’t go Maldives being an Indian
Thanks for the suggestion anyway

For a 7-8 day trip in August ...consider exploring the stunning landscapes of Nepal.... Himalayas to the vibrant culture of Kathmandu... would be great experiences. You can trek in the Annapurna region, visit ancient temples and monasteries...Plus, Nepal is relatively affordable, so you can make the most of your budget while enjoying an unforgettable adventure.
Within India, consider exploring Goa. Despite being the rainy season, Goa has its charm. You can enjoy beaches, old Goa and casino in south goa. (Attached link for casino thingy)
Plus, with a variety of budget-friendly accommodations and activities like water sports and beach shacks, you can make the most of your trip without breaking the bank... haha!

Someone doesn't appreciate my opinion that, as an Indian, I oppose the Maldives. I have nothing against any individual, group, or religion or particular country. As an Indian, I oppose the nation that shows disrespects towards our country, our Prime Minister, and our people.

Have been to Goa in last Feb only

Nepal is a great suggestion… should I expect heavy rainfall and landslide in Nepal mountain area during August?

I can assume so

Turkey is easily in your budget. Round trip tickets are hardly 40k per head.
Food and stay are comparable in prices to India (30% more expensive)
You can easily do a turkey trip in 2 lakhs (For 2 people)
