I feel it gives good return on miles depending upon ur variant.

Gold charge and MRCC gives 1000 points on spend of 6000 which can be converted to vistara point in 3:1 ratio.

that will depend on your use case actually. Miles transfer will at best be 2:1, bonvoy will be 1:1.

If you previously use to book hotels in 5k+ rate then good.....
If you are collecting for once in a while luxury holiday then also keep collecting.
use for bonvoy if you can grasp the point game.
For first time travel user I'd recommend taj vouchers which I personally going for this year.
Otherwise bigbasket / shopperstop is next best option.

to book stays in marriott and their partner hotels, the point value can vary a lot, cannot put a static figure on them. but ive heard you can indeed get more than 1re per point as well sometimes

MR points is best suitable for Hotels.
for Flights look into other cards.

I got my GOLD CARD delivered just few mins back! Can you tell me how you got 4K and 2K points.. Is it bcoz of the referral bonus + 10K spend within 90 days criteria for which u got total 6k points?

4k was welcome bonus on spending 10k within 90 days
1k was for 6 transactions of min 1000 each
and rest are regular spend MR points
