best use of amex points?

please tell me the best use of amex point?

is it a good move to transfer points to marriot bonvoy for hotel booking?

2k was referral bonus
4k was welcome bonus on spending 10k within 90 days
1k was for 6 transactions of min 1000 each
and rest are regular spend MR points

Also the criteria in case of referral for getting bonus and welcome MR is 5k not 10k in 90 days
also for next year fees payment I will get another 5k MR
Overall its a very good deal

MR points is best suitable for Hotels.
for Flights look into other cards.

Best Combo is to have amex ( gold and MRCC both ) for hotel stays and magnus for airmiles
This combo will suffice most travelers need

To fully utilize it take a MRCC card as well , spend 12k every month and get 24k MR points each year. Best you take it up on referral and call customer care next year to waive off charges of MRCC second year

I think its not that bad. If you use card just to do special txn worth 6000 you get 1000 point whose value is 250 so basically 4.2% return.

agreed that in their 18k and 24k catalogs its much higher bt 4.2% is not that bad
