Best way for NPS payments

What way would be best for National Pension Scheme(NPS) Payments? Currently I have SBI CB/Apay/HDFC millenia - need to pay 50k - which would be best? Any other way than via credit cards?

450-500 charges on 50000 amount. 2% cashback via ACE is 1000. So overall in profit. Via cc, NPS charges additional 0.9% of txn amt + 18% GST

I did netbanking due to these charges and I was not sure if Ace would give 2% on this.

Does anyone have 1st hand experience with getting 2% CB from Ace?

HDFC DCB will give 0 Reward Points. (government transactions)

Use any of Vistara cards or Amex. You'll get the milestone benefits. Not sure about regular points.

Amex Gold gives you regular MR points on NPS as well. Use it to pay 1000 upto 6000/month (6 times).

ACE definitely gives 2% as these are governmental transactions which are applicable for 2% cb.
UIDAI and NSDL PAN application has fetched 2%

W.e.f. Sep 1st, 2023, cashback shall not be eligible for payments made towards government services (all transactions made on MCC – 9399).

in August and September, I was able to make NPS payments using an American Express card successfully, but today in October, it gives an error that entered card or amount is not supported.

Is NPS has stopped accepting payments using Amex cards?

Yeah, tried today. Did you tried entering other credit card, it other cards are working then it should be some sort of glitch & AMEX should also work. I will try couple of days later.
