best way to earn a positive return on international spends

So i recently travaled to bali ,we were 2 people in total we spent 2.5 lakh rs on my card we were charged almost 4300 as charges and got 3800 in rewards thanks to 1.5 % reward rate and 18 % gst on it and idfc wealth giving me 1.66% return.

I have closed my magnus card due to no benefits as such ,i think the best option in my stable is one metal card as of now as i see no other alternative ,if there are other alternative let me know where i dont loose money using a credit card on forex transactions.

my itr filling is almost close to 50 lakhs hdfc does'nt give me infinia only bonvoy card. Any other card from some other bank which has reasonable fees and the net rate of return is negative would be great.

seriously missing my magnus days where i was getting close to 20 to 25% returns.

You can try to apply for UNI WAVE CC as it gives 0% forex charges, as i have used it for international payments and it wasn't charged for it.
