Best Way to pay Credit Card Bill

Guys I am redacting this post as I have been asked by the bank for non disclosure as mentioned in TnCs else my account would be suspended. They had asked me to remove this as this violates the TnC related to not getting reward points for CC payments.

I have got all of them including pioneer Visa Infinite, Grande and Exclusive world MC and Platinum, visa signature etc.

Cred confirmed not giving. 18th dec I still didn't received. Visa Sig DC

I made a transaction in CRED on 12th Jan through Indusind Visa platinum DC and got points credited on 14th Jan. And paid through visa signature select in Paytm on 13th Jan and got points on 16th Jan. So, both cred and paytm platforms are working for visa platinum and signature. Confirmed.

Curious how much balance do you maintain? Is it more than the requirement of the account variant?
Coincidence or not I got points on all transactions on visa(paytm) and mc(parkplus) from last 2 months except once when the balance (on the 3rd-4th day of trx) was lower than mab required.

My MAB is always more than the requirements
however when i did payment on 11th for 1.2L via paytm the balance did fall below 95k
which was replenished after 5-6 days (added 3L more in that account)
SO you feel if the MAB is low than 1L select account then we wont get RP
thats the theory? but how come mc (parkplus) got the points and txn made same day

mab theory is wrong i think coz i am having legend+select combo and not keeping more than 25-30K in my account but still continuously receiving points on all of the three cards!!!!

I am not able to pay credit card bills on hdfc portal or app using my easyshop platinum DC. I have already added axis and icici credit cards few months ago and are active. Everytime I am getting payment failed error even with Rs 1 payment.

I think we should just forget about 11th Jan. I will have to again do 22.5k txn before month end now to touch 112.5k.

Interesting- so balance was low when points were due to be credited and at the same time mc got points. then don't know what explains this randomness. I can understand paytm having 2+ mcc and there is one which does not give points. But in my case last month, highly doubt park plus has various mcc for cc bill payment.

Anyways my strategy is to pay in parts ~40. So even I don't points for 1trx, do one more.

Just did paytm this morning. Bdw I got points for all trx this month.
