Looks like HDFC allows only 1 dc per account. Max savings + higher accounts get 1 dc free of cost

Yes, you can get it for free. If you mean issuance fees, you can raise a request through your RM for their reversal in case they charge you.

No only one dc is allowed. If you want another open 2nd account

How r u getting 5% rewards on shopping? I can see only 4 rp on spending 100₹ anywhere ..

Yes, that is why I have mentioned rupay easyshop platinum. It is totally a diff card.
