earlier, VISA and MC used to have their own set of Lounge list which was shared by the Back.... MC had better lounges than VISA at that time but now, Banks set the list of approved lounge and so, you can't compare...

Best would be Priority Pass and Dreakfolks...

Then Diners Club would come with some exceptions (check HDFC Millennia CC, I dont think it's diners club variant has all lounges listed in premium DC cards... or have the only listed domestic tieups.. not sure)

Last would be Rupay, they have tie-ups with 70-80% of Diners domestic lounge list

VISA/Mastercard now are now bank specific... you can see that VISA Signature of ICICI and HDFC would have different lists...

Many Banks are using access from Dreamfolks so Visa, Mastercard should not matter in many cases.Sbi uses visa so shoud check the visa list. HDFC Visa cards is a small list now. Icici has better coverage in domestic. Haven’t checked a Mastercard. Diners has better coverage.

Dreamfolks - coverage of lounges in tier2 & small city airports is far better compared to Diners/Priority Pass.
