nah nah no male ego 😂 I was actually pissed off by amex asking about so much documents from me although it was mentioned before that I can get it without any income doc.
And for my wife , I thought she doesn't have any chance of approval but they approved within 2 hours without any documents 🫤.
I thought it is just a random thing but then staff explained me that her address is of a big metro city and I applied from my Village address. Address play a crucial role for amex.

btw both of us got amex plat travel so 8 Lac sorted for the year 😂.

That would depend how much you like Marriot and how much you spend on excluded categories from other cards. AMEX Platinum travel considers most of the spend in milestone like Advance Tax, Jewelery, Fuel, etc.

Today's AmEx email says that the new MGM referral plan will be valid till 29/09/2026.

As of now, the referral applicant can choose to apply ONLY the current cards on offer (which are only 2 cards - not all).

The new members will not get fee discounts. They get reward points.

I think those who want to apply for other cards - must wait. Or, if they apply now - even through the MGM referral - they can select only from this 2 currently on offer.

Bhai you should have DMed before applying. There are certain things to keep in mind while applying. The key is to get vKYC in the first step.
