BOBCARD Cashback Credit Card – Feature Terms and Condition:

Cashback refers to the monetary reward credited to the customer’s BOBCARD Credit Card account.

The cashbacks will be processed according to the following table:



Cardholder will be eligible for accelerated cashback subject to Minimum 4 transactions in a statement cycle.

Transactions less than Rs 100 are not eligible for Cashback.

Transactions on select Merchant Category Codes (MCCs) listed in Annexure 1 are not eligible for any cashback benefit. Also Fuel transactions and Cash and Quasi Cash/ ATM withdrawals are not eligible for Cashback,

Cashback will be posted automatically and will reflect in the subsequent credit card statement .

Cashback will be computed based on net eligible spends during the statement period i.e. If a transaction is cancelled, returned, or reversed (Partially/fully) after the statement generation date, the corresponding cashback will be debited in that statement cycle.

Pretty ordinary card IMO.

The accelerated CB is only on domestic transactions and that too on 10K + per month (cumulative, if I understand it right, but a minimum of 4 transactions)

Not really a competitor to SBI or even Axes' CB offering.

You can apply multiple BOB co-branded cards.

Both SBI CB and BOB CB are a FAIL in some ways although SBI Cashback is the reigning king for those who were issued that card for full unrestricted abuse of it 🤭

SBI Cashback has overleveraged problem

This BOB Cashback has too many restrictions already

1) Only txns > ₹10K for 5% cashback
2) Max. cashback capped at ₹1500 per month
3) Must do 4 txns per month to get accelerated (5% cashback) on > 10K txns
4) Tons of Special MCCs excluded. Wrong MCCs regularly used by Flipkart, ClearTrip, Paytm flights, Indigo website, EaseMyTrip=🥚

They could have called it BOB Crippled Cashback card
