but i found this while trying to claim the voucher on rupay website,

but also while checking out the official terms and conditions on the Prime Video Benefit (on rupay website itself) i didn't find any such restriction.

did you personally try redeeming the voucher from rupay website on a amazon account with existing active prime subscription?

Yes I did. Have already mentioned. But let me tell you as I said earlier, it was mentioned in the Amazon T&C when I redeemed, permitted one time and to limited user accounts, so don't blame me if your membership isn't stacked. Check the T&C thoroughly. Neither Amazon nor RuPay will help you in that case. If you still have a doubt, you can keep the voucher as is and use it according to your conscience. Good luck.

I already have a prime membership running since 1st december 2024 and i added this coupon on 28th december 2024 which has a validity of one year, still if you have doubts then you can add coupon after your prime membership expires because you have one full year before it expires

I am wondering if the offer has been discontinued or if it’s just a temporary issue.


As confirmed by @Abhishek012, the offer is extended till March 2025, but it is currently not working. @Abhishek012, can you please confirm this?


There has been no official announcement about its discontinuation.


Could someone please confirm if they can avail of the offer?

No, you have to manually activate it after your existing membership ends. If you renew before your current membership Amazon will give you 100 off, don't take that offer 100 will remain out of the 1499 Voucher. Next time you will not be able to add another voucher unless you use the 100.

They have now allowed adding upto 1799 prime balance.
So its no more an issue for one using that offer.
