BOB Eterna on basis of One Card

I have a One Card by BOB with a limit of 8 lakhs. Is there any way to apply for BOB Eterna on c2c basis or additional card ?

Not True! I got BOB onecard last year with a credit limit of 2.5 Lakh and a month later got the BOB Premier Rupay JCB variant as LTF in an ongoing offer with 1.5 Lakh limit. Also later my One card limit in Jan this year got increased to 5 Lakh even though I barely use the card so i guess you’ll be fine apply for BOB card!

I got both cards August 1st week! On my primary number Federal bank was showing no offer available for you so I tried with my alternate number and it offered me Imperio so I applied and after a couple of days I applied for Scapia using the same number and got Scapia as well!! Federal one card policy i believe is only for core cards!! It’s just an assumption floating around for BOB and Federal that if you have one card you can’t get the core card!!

what is the Scapia cooling period to re-apply?
when we can re-apply after 1st time being rejected due to already holding the federal card.

Based on @Martius post, applied both cards within less span of time where none of them approved by the time another application started. So, bank not yet flagged but allowed to have both cards. Based on my knowledge, this process always works with all banks but later if they do re-auditing etc. checks then they'll discontinue one of the cards. But, Federal so far didn't implemented that feature and blocking users who already had credit card with them (approved at the time of application).

@Martius , do correct incase its otherwise.

@watchguys , incase if not aware the real benefit and most possible option to use Eterna card for now is to load wallets. For that you need to get wallet MCC only, if you get Travel or Utilitis MCC then reward rate reduces to 0.375% instead of 3.75% (a drastic change). FYI: both paytm, amzn provides these additional MCCs sometimes, so one has to careful when transacting using this card.

Another benefit, unlimited domestic lounge with good coverage, that is the only benefit left and works all time. Otherwise, its not good to spend 2900Rs. annually or 2.5L.

BOB allow multiple cards and you can apply using Onecard but approval depends on other factors (do consider income sometimes they may request to process the application).

I have federal Onecard. Now they aren't giving me Federal core cards

not for sure,
got bob one card in 2022 july,
later on 2023 may applied hpcl bob card got approved
for salaried with cibil 750+
it's not a big issue to get..
I think so
