Yes any credit in account gets counted against ledger folio if you deposit 1 rupee also you will get charged

Too much confusion on BOB CA, @swarupgolui , @techprince let's notice this account for the next few quarters. Even I shall monitor it too. I don't think there is any charges on ADCs. Evn, I haven't charged till now. Still, let's follow & post here if any charges are occurring

There is no 'only'. This folio charges. For basic CAs , there is no Free Folio facility, hence if UPI credit is counting as an entry of the ledger book then it will be charged as folio only.

As per my understanding & BOB scheduled charges, there shouldn't be any charges on ADC based txns. Hence, UPI txns irrespective of Dr/Cr should be free. Even, I am holding a BOB LITE CA but I have not charged till now. Still, lot's of confusion. Just follow this thread in the upcoming quarters, we shall monitor our account & confirm you

My branch didnt ask for any deposit. I have a Non-Individual Current Account opened a month ago as well as an Individual Current Account opened in March 2025. Any offline transactions, including IP via cheque or cash will get counted towards Ledger Folio. You did a mistake by giving a cheque/cash. Should have done via UPI.

@techprince what's ur review?

As per my understanding, if you have done any 1 transaction via Non-ADC mode like CASH/CHEQUE etc then 'Yes' Folio Charges would be levied

BUT,

Still I am not fully sure on it. Once I asked BOB CS but they informed me that Folio Charges are applicable on any transaction (offline/online) but BOB Websites are saying different. Even, there are a few youtube videos are available where people are complaining on levying charges even after discarding any NON-ADC related transaction through this CA.

Me, @techprince , @swarupgolui etc are holding this account including you. Please update the charges here periodically. Till now, I am not seeing any charges on my account though I didn't have any NON-ADC transaction.

There is no confusion. ADC transactions are not chargeable. Youtube videos are giving false information. Only do UPI and Debit Card transactions and you wont be charged.

Anyways, after ruling out all options, i have opened Freedom Current Account (5000 MAB) in Federal Bank as i outgrew UPI limits quicker than expected and now in need of free NEFT/RTGS. I will be closing the Individual BOB Lite account next year and will keep Non-Individual BOB Lite as backup.
