Please share user review or experiences with Bob Snapdeal Rupay Credit card, basically i want a rupay credit card with atleast 1% cashback or rewards.
I heard about high UPI failure rate with this card in the past, is this issue still there?

I recently paid for petrol via UPI but got charged 11.80 rupees surcharge on 195 rupees petrol. Is it normal? Because I was never charged any surcharge with ICICI coral UPI. Why snapdeal charging this much?

I use bob snapdeal for quite some time didn't face failure issue
It has 1% upi but only upto rs 125 so max transaction in each bill cycle is rs 12500

For bob min fuel amount is 400 for waiver. Below 400 it's useless. Above 400 you get double waiver on UPI payments for snapdeal.

Okay thanks. Still 11 rupees surcharge seems too much for 195 rupees transaction.

10+GST or 1%+GST whichever higher.. general rule for all banks // any bank // any card.

careful next time. not the new thing, its been like a decade with this rule.

btw, some banks do surcharge waiver but follows only 1%+GST.

for more info, read MITC of that bank.

So from yesterday, Snapdeal used via upi apps gives 1% unlimited returns. In that same document they say core reward points wont be got on wallet loading.

But what about upi usage at the places like Supermarkets, convenience stores, fast food restaurants which are included in the Annexure A: List of Special MCCs (from the June 2024 devaluation shown in Post #2

: )

I went through the above thread.

Ok. So accelerated RPs wont be obtained by using rupay on upi.

But my doubt is - Will we get 1% unlimited return with rupay on upi transactions done at supermarkets, convenience stores, fast food restaurants etc.

I am asking this since the document in post #2 says mcc included in annexure will not fetch core reward points.

yes, unlimited 1%.

but, do note that they're 5%/10% (if eligible) cards for supermarket, convenience stores, fast food restaurants, just in case.

Do not settle for less (if eligible).

Thanks bro for confirming.

I currently use kiwi for upi. But will keep thus as a back up when kiwi neon subscription gets chargeable.
Other than kiwi, I plan to use BPCL Octane card which gives 2.5% at grocery, departmental store and dining.
I think you are referring to HSBC Live card which gives 10% at supermarkets, but I don’t have it.
