Bringing b***z* from duty free on connecting flight within India

Domestic indigo did not allow alcohol. I bought from dmk on way to del, then my flight was to ccu after few hours. But the floor manager, did pack 2 bottles and few cloths in a carton and put it on checkin baggage. 1st they ask for extra charge. Maine bola, outside india sab salaam karte the, india mein aakar ye haal. Kuch saram karo. Raat bhar soya nahi tha. Indigo manager just smiled and didnt charge me extra.

Ek peg usko bhi pila dete 😅

I was trying to do same from Japan ->DEL->BLR
And wasn't allowed to buy from Japan Duty Free, they saw my ticket and checked in their system and declined us to buy.
They told Officers in Delhi would throw the bottle as not more than 60 ml allowed

I have a friend who's coming from Istanbul in Indigo with 1 beer in check-in bag for family & has a short layover at Mumbai where I'm asking them to buy duty free booze & give it to me in Mumbai & then go back inside for their connecting Indigo flight with same PNR to Delhi. My questions are -
1. Can she come out after international trip without check in bag & just carrying the hand bag & duty free booze?
2. Can she buy 2 litres at duty free over the 1 beer in check-in baggage without attracting customs?

I have Dubai - Delhi - Bangalore connection on same PNR. Wanted to get some b**z* from duty free at Delhi duty free for friends 😉 . But have immediate connection in 2 hrs to Bangalore on same PNR.

I don't think we can carry sealed duty free bottles on domestic route (Delhi Bangalore) and since ticket is on same PNR, luggage will transfer directly at Delhi airport for Bangalore flight. What are the options then? Taking out check in bags and all will take lot of time as I have only 2 hrs in between.

Anyone with prior experience, please share 😎
YOu will need to put the bottles in checkin baggage, i have never tried but that should work, also check if the terminal are same, Delhi has multiple terminal
