Issue Resolved Can’t apply for IDFC First app sticker

See the screenshot attached, basically when I’m trying to apply for the second time for the first tap sticker because for the first time I had a wealth account which got upgraded to private, and then the sticker was closed and from last two weeks, I’m trying to apply, but it is always throw a error. and yes, I have already emailed my RM. I have called to the customer care. They don’t a clue have reinstalled the app, still the same error. Anybody face this issue? How do they resolve it?

Update - 26/02/2025 - to resolve this error of "unable to process your request" call your RM/BM and tell them you can't apply and you need First tap so this is backend issue so in a day or two card will be available for Pin generation automatically.

Algorithm has changed. Now, he won't receive normal welcome bonus. He will get 8000 RPs even on normal DC since his account is now wealth. He will get bonus only once on any of his card. It is now account level.

Tried and tested.

Well as long as I get 8000 RP, I am fine. I was more worried about loosing 8k points after using classic. Eitherway I have done a txn with classic just to confirm what happens.

Points get credited instantly. Even Welcome Points are credited instantly.

No man the rewards section doesn't show it yet. Does that mean the txn from classic DC is not eligible for welcome rewards?

IG, IDFC give welcome rewards on 1st eligible txn, used to happen previously, so make eligible txn of more than 1k.

1st thing, Wallet transaction is not eligible.

2nd thing, use Firstap RuPay DC and get welcome rewards.

I have said earlier 1st eligible txn was used to to fetch points so you can try again making an eligible txn, you have no choice now.

Can't guarantee, what happened after the change.

You haven't wasted your Welcome Bonus, you will get 8k bonus instantly on transaction of 1k +

That's why I was wondering why you haven't received your RPs, it should be instant.

I have done another INR 1000+ txn (this time a bill payment) and confirmed with customer care that I should get the welcome rewards. The guy checked and was assuring and asked me to wait for a few days. I have no idea why it's not instant.

A peculiar thing though, my account got upgraded to wealth 7 days back but the reward portal still shows 'Select' logo (no idea why)

After the upgrade, there were a lot of bugs in their system. It will be resolved over time. Patience is the thing we can do. Points will be credited as per Customer ID status.

Rewards Portal has been upgraded, the select and wealth logo was shown in old portal. The new portal doesn't show anything. Update your app. That’s the reason you are not able to view your updated points. Points will not be updated on old portal, it will show previous balance only.

If you are talking about the logo in Mobile Banking App, then it's normal, sometimes it takes time to refresh. Don't worry, your account is wealth even if it doesn't show (since wealth dc has already been generated)

I think that makes sense. Only the old portal displayed select logo but given its not being updated that's fine.

The app shows wealth correctly but the welcome rewards is still not updated.
