Can you share RM's details or let me know how?My Burgundy RM is ready to get me Burgundy Private card (Paid, of course) and @Eye of Ajay also had one without Private status if I'm not mistaken. I am not sure about the status of Olympus issuance though (got Olympus as a replacement for now dead Prestige).
I heard there’s many queries on requesting the burgundy private card, even the paid version. But I don’t think the bank has taken a decision yet.My Burgundy RM is ready to get me Burgundy Private card (Paid, of course) and @Eye of Ajay also had one without Private status if I'm not mistaken. There is no exclusivity as far as segment based eligibility is concerned. I'm getting it with burgundy, few others have got the card at even lower tiers. If one is not fulfilling the TRV criteria, then it all boils down to a decent customer profile, effective RM-BM duo and being in good terms with them.I heard there’s many queries on requesting the burgundy private card, even the paid version. My RM said if they open it for public, even if it’s just for burgundy customers willing to pay the fees, then the exclusivity for burgundy private customers will be lost.
This aged well. Not even two months!I don't think the rug will be pulled because they need to compete with HDFC Smartbuy 16.5%/33% return and Axis Traveledge 24% return
If they don't want to launch it for public, they could have had migration journey for Citi Prestige customers to some other new/existing axis card. I don't understand why would they want to maintain a product with a static list of Citi Prestige customersIf it is not available by 31st March for the general public, then I don't think it will ever be available.
Because it is not profitable for Axis
Might be tnc from citi banks to keep same perks..and probably there might be restrictions on devaluationsIf they don't want to launch it for public, they could have had migration journey for Citi Prestige customers to some other new/existing axis card. And not opening to other segments? Free or paid to Burgundy private? It is given to Burgundy private customers
It's lifetime free to Burgundy Private customers, just like magnus burgundy was lifetime free for a short whileAnd not opening to other segments? Free or paid to Burgundy private?
So, if I open a Burgundy Private account. I can get Olympus cc LTF?It's lifetime free to Burgundy Private customers, just like magnus burgundy was lifetime free for a short while
Yes, you must insist on this pre-condition to open the burgundy private accountSo, if I open a Burgundy Private account. I can get Olympus cc LTF?
Dont they already have travel edge and grab dealsCan we expect that now that both HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank have platforms for accelerated rewards (Smartbuy and Ishop respectively), after Axis Bank launches Olympus credit card for general application, after some time, to compete with HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank for similarly priced cards (Infinia and DCB for HDFC and Emeralde Private and Times Black for ICICI), they too will launch an accelerated rewards platform?
Would have been fair to at least open this as a paid card to burgundy segment when they are offering it free to burgundy privateIt's lifetime free to Burgundy Private customers, just like magnus burgundy was lifetime free for a short while
Travel edge, yes, for travel tickets and hotels. But for vouchers, Grab Deals is not a proper substitute for Smartbuy and Ishop. It doesn't have accelerated rewards for vouchers.Dont they already have travel edge and grab deals
New account required? Existing not possible?Yes, you must insist on this pre-condition to open the burgundy private account
