I Am Thinking To Open Account In ICICI Bank (Silver Savings Account) But There Is No Option Online To Open An Silver Savings Account. So I Am Thinking To Open A InstaSave Savings Account And Then Upgrade It Into Silver Varient.

So, I Want To Ask That Can I Upgrade My Account Right After It Is Opened. And If There Is A Link To Open Siver Account Directly Then I Will Open It Directly.

@anirbanm Bro As You're Having The Account In ICICI. Today I Was Seeing On ICICI Bank Website Silver Account It Requires Rs. 50,000 MAB On A Family Level.

So Can It Make A Linked FD Of Rs. 40,000 And Keep Rs. 10,000 In The Account (I Will Add 3 Account In Family Group). Will The Maintenance Criteria Will Be Fulfilled In The Above Case.

No Specific Reason Brother... Just Wanted To Have An Account With ICICI For Credit Card... And As I Have Listened From Many In This Community... Their Technology Is Cutting Edge... So Wanted To Have A Taste Of It.

Silver Now Only Because It Has 50K MAB For The Whole Family And Will Gradually Upgrade To 1L(Gold & Magnum) And 2L MAB (Titanium) Account Varient.

ICICI is the best in terms of technology (Net banking and Mobile app). CCs expect Amazon Pay are not that good.

Not as per my experience. We don't need to listen to all options. There would be a voice assistant at start, tell her in short what you want and she will directly connect you to the required menu.

If you want good overall banking experience go with the IDFC. Or stick to low end account on ICICI like Insta save.

Keeping in money in account is only worth for IDFC 25k MAB a/c and HDFC max. Or indusind 1 lacs MAB.

If I remember correctly insta save one can get for 10k, insta save fd with 10k fd.

I don't know if those products are being offered anymore or not, but you could try asking.
