I don't know why are you visiting branch for FD opening and closing. Open and close the same in ai1 app itself . While making a deposit in app there is clear option asking whether to Renew the deposit, close the deposit, renew principal and pay interest.

Branches can also do in CBS there is specific option for that.

How was the FD created? Online by yourself or at the branch by their sarkari staff?
