Change Airtel Axis Credit Card Mobile Number

Application for airtel axis credit card rejected for my personal number.. so I tried with my dad number and application got approved now.
My question is after changing the mobile number from branch, will the credit card gets linked to my personal number axis mobile app as i already have two axis credit cards with them.

Edit: Application got rejected after VKYC.

Check the customer ID of the new card. If you applied with your own PAN, most cases it will be your existing ID.
Check your mobile app to see if new card is listed there.

I applied with all my own credentials.
Only the airtel thanks app is different with dad's mobile number.

As an existing customer, your new card will be linked with existing customer ID. But OTP will be sent to your father's number. Once your card linked with customer ID, change mobile number from Axis app.

It will get attached to new number for all cards.
You can then change it to personal number from axis mobile app. (Got this info from other threads)

And by the way my application got rejected after VKYC stating duplicate application. I thought it to be approved as airtel app stated conditionally approved.

Rejection happened because I made a mistake of applying with both mom and dad no simultaneously in frustration of getting the card. Both stated conditionally approved..later both application got rejected😝.

After long wait time (6+ months), I requested airtel card offline through agent and applied on March 25th and got approved on 31st March. Card on the way...My personal favourite card💯. Polish_20230404_103941745.jpg

Did you got same limit as your old cards or different limit

Hi All,

I am having airtel broadband connection & its tied up with my jio sim.
I applied for airtel axis card with my wife airtel sim (even that also we're no more using it as its secondary number).
My wife is having 2 axis bank credit cards & that tied-up with my wife primary number.

Now, the thing is I can change the airtel axis registered number (secondary number that no more using it) to her primary number but will I get the cashback if I use it in my airtel thanks app that linked to broadband (jio sim).


Sorry guys if I am confusing you 🤣

My Airtel app was showing you are not eligible, so I applied from my mom's airtel app with my details. The card got approved and started to show in my AXIS app. After receiving the card, I changed the mobile number from axis app to my number. Airtel app in my mom's phone is showing your card is processing and my airtel app no longer show you are not eligible but gives me option to apply with the details prefilled, which I filled on my mom's phone while applying. I don't know how to view this card details in Airtel App, it is already available in Axis app.

Card details can't be viewed on Airtel Thanks app.
Doesn't matter if the card shows on Airtel Thanks app or not.
