CIBIL enquiries for HDFC for checking offers

Hi guys,

I got to know that HDFC makes hard CIBIL enquiries even for just checking the card offers they are offering. I've raised a complaint with grievance redressal team escalation.cc@hdfcbank.com for removing the enquiries. They have sent the below email expressing their inability for suppression of the enquiries.

Is there anything else that i can do like filing a complaint externally? Did anyone get these type of enquiries removed from their CIBIL?

Exactly same thing happened with me… generally it doesn’t happen for other banks

I was planning to raise this to HDFC tomorrow but checked your post now

So there is no point raising the same to them!!!

I believe we can raise the same to RBIO… let’s plan the same and phrase the write up!!!

Yes... HDFC reports it as a hard enquiry even for checking what kind of card is eligible....
