If i keep on applying for new card in small time frame does cibil take serious hit and is it bad? Other parameters i managing 1005 repayment and Credit utilization

If i keep on applying for new card in small time frame does cibil take serious hit and is it bad? Other parameters i managing 1005 repayment and Credit utilization

I applied for 8 new cards in 2 months cibil dropped by 9 points. I think credit age, utilisation and repayment have more impact than new enquiries.

Applied for 3 cards in September - 5 enquiries were made
Score increased by 2 points
Applied for anather card this month
Don't know about score now

It won't impact much,if u apply for many cards or loans within a month. According to some sources it will be still considered as 1 hard enquiry.
