Hi, I closed my personal loan in 2010 and it's reflecting in cibil as closed. But recently I have received calling from bank (may be I suspect third party) I have outstanding payment. How it can be they are asking me when the loan is closed in my cibil report. My question is my cibil report used as proof as I have no receipt about that loan.

Thanks

No.

You need to have NOC or some written proof from bank.

Thank you. I have closed loan in 2010 now it's 2023. But I don't have any proof. The loan last paid date, loan close date and Balance amount as mentioned NIL given by bank only to CIBIL Report. Can you please suggest what can I do in this regard. I Thank you.

Contact the bank and get an NOC. Always remember to collect the NOC/NDC(No dues certificate) from the lender once a credit account is closed.

Also stop entertaining the call if they call you once again and ask them to send a written statement sent to your residence address. If they ask what's your address, then be sure they are not the people who lent you the money.
