The new Axis Bank credit cards look good if we consider their benefits. However, in terms of rewards, even the Axis Olympus card has many exclusions. Despite this, it is still a good card for international spending. In terms of reliability, Axis Bank doesn't come close to Citibank. This is the main reason almost all Citibank customers were very unhappy with the Citibank and Axis Bank deal earlier last year. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything but accept this migration. If you don't want to continue with your Citibank cards, you can close them; you will not be charged any renewal or migration fees at this time. Renewal fees will be levied at the usual time of your card renewal. The Citi PremierMiles and Citi Prestige cards were some of the best and most reliable for accumulating air miles. Personally, I will never rely on Axis Bank, as they can send you notices and ask for transaction clarifications from the past year, even for very small amounts.

This is the end of an era.

For me, it shows customer id is inactive. On call with CS for more than 5 mins and listening to IVR only. Nobody coming on the line.
But I could setup it and see all details in app a few hours back. Now this issue. It seems I have to visit branch or call customer care. What customer care with such a long waiting time? I hold a Burgundy account.
did it get fixed for you?

No it will be shown to CIBIL as 22 lakhs shared among 4 cards, not 88 lacs.
I doubt it because my Citi card is already showing as Axis card in last month's CIBIL report and the limit was shown separately....
but you have a point that this way people will have total limit in excess of crore whereas they are holding card with shared limit

Currently that's the case. I have multiple cards from HDFC and ICICI Bank. Although the limit is shared, but bank show this as a separate limit in CIBIL. Unfortunately, SBI consider the overall limit and rejecting my application stating overleverage.

But isn't a high limit good for your CIBIL score? because your total utilisation will drop significantly to hardly 1--2%

If you have 4 Axis cards each with limit 22L then it will be reported as 4 accounts with 22L in CIBIL, and your total credit limit exposure will be 88L for Axis cards.

High limit shows overleveraged client even though he's not using it... That's why mix of credit accounts is preferred

But it also shows that the banks have a lot of faith and confidence in the customer in order to give him such a high limit

This says nothing changes about annual fee, I guess annual fee will be same as Citi IndianOil which was 999+gst. However, will the spendwaivers be same?
Citi IndianOil Spend waiver was ₹30,000
Axis IndianOil Premium Spend waiver is ₹1,00,000

1721046994542.webp 1721047056356.webp

So 2 questions.

1. Will spend waiver be same?
2. Will annual fees will be charged after the expiry of the current card as it wont change for the new card?

From where you got these screenshots :p

Migration done for my a/c. They combined limits for Citi Rewards and Cashback CCs. Airtel Axis CC limit is the same and is not combined with Citi CC credit limits. No increase in Citi CC CLs.
Another interesting thing I noted is that, app failed while I setup my upi pin. But I could do a successful outward upi transaction from the app itself.
Cashback on cashback CC and RPs on Rewards CC is not showing currently. Will take 60 days it seems.
I got a Burgundy salary a/c. Not sure whether it is beneficial or not.
One negative point is that limit on Eazydiner is reduced by Rs.500 for Rewards CC (max Rs. 500 now) and Rs. 200 for Cashback CC (max Rs. 800 now).
Positive point is that there are few new added benefits which will offset the above negative point.
New benefits on Rewards Card
Domestic lounge - 2 complimentary visits per qtr. T&C not known at this time (y)
30% off on Swiggy orders, 150/order, min order value 200, 2 times a month (y)
New benefits on Cashback Card
7% cashback on online spends, upto 4k per month (y)
auto credit of full cashback amount on spends in current cycle before next statement date (just like airtel axis card) (y)
upto 50% instant discount on Grab Deals, not sure about upto 50% part
unlimited 0.75% cashback on all online and offline travel spends. 0.5% cashback on utility bill payments. Useless when you better paying cards.
