The new Axis Bank credit cards look good if we consider their benefits. However, in terms of rewards, even the Axis Olympus card has many exclusions. Despite this, it is still a good card for international spending. In terms of reliability, Axis Bank doesn't come close to Citibank. This is the main reason almost all Citibank customers were very unhappy with the Citibank and Axis Bank deal earlier last year. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything but accept this migration. If you don't want to continue with your Citibank cards, you can close them; you will not be charged any renewal or migration fees at this time. Renewal fees will be levied at the usual time of your card renewal. The Citi PremierMiles and Citi Prestige cards were some of the best and most reliable for accumulating air miles. Personally, I will never rely on Axis Bank, as they can send you notices and ask for transaction clarifications from the past year, even for very small amounts.

This is the end of an era.

Can we request for replacement card now.. is there option to do the same online..

If anyone is successful in getting citi card replaced with axis branding do let us know..
Even I thought the same, but they might not honour it now because Axis is integrating this migration in phase manner. So we have to wait for some more time I guess. Let's watch this space for more updates.

Deleted and reinstalled the Axis app on my phone and went through the whole onboarding rigmarole again, and as I suspected, they've created a new customer ID for me and mapped my Citibank card to it, while my Axis cards are under my old customer ID. I'm assuming this has happened to others here. Anyone resolved it successfully?

Was the registered mobile no of citi different from that of axis? In my case, the mobile no was same but correspondence address was diff. Citi was mapped to axis cust ID. Earlier, I had flipkart card with diff mobile no and diff cust ID but once the card mobile no was updated, card was linked to main cust ID.

I'm unable to login to axis mobile app after migration.. getting error saying 'no linked axis accounts found for the chose mobile number' though i have 2 axis cards and 1 citi card.. Its asking me turn on mobile internet and asking me to choose sim .. then after a min, im getting the error.. anyone faced this issue?

log into netbanking from desktop.
axis seems to have employed amateurs for designing their app or have entered into a deal with telecom operators to rob people of their money through sms. The app has issues on certain devices/networks. the sim verification keeps failing and your mobile balance keeps getting depleted due to continuous sending of sms. I have stopped using their app long back.

No, though my name according to the Axis account includes my middle name. While for Citi, it does not. It's probably cocked up because of that. Needless to say, they added the middle name in on their own during the application for my first Axis card and refused to remove it and I didn't have the patience to fight with them over it back then.

If you by any chance have the box your Axis card came with, that will have a leaflet/letter with your customer ID on it.

Name is supposed to be as per Adhaar/PAN

Yes, I had a slight different spelling according to educational records and Citi had that name, but in Axis bank it's according to Aadhar card. Now after migration Axis has updated Credit card details with Aadhar name but Savings account with the old name which was in Citi, but there was no issue in integration.

Looks like what's done is only 'migration' not 'mapping'.
Atleast it appears so for me.

Once we register and log in using our citi credentials, we get to see our migrated Citi Savings Accounts, Cards etc
This is on the web. Check attachment, in case you haven't come across this.

When I reinstalled the app and re-registered, I was asked to choose between my axis business, axis personal and citi customer ids to move forward.
I chose my axis personal id.

I discovered I need not have reinstalled after all.
Everything is same as before.

They have multiple options for logging in.

Check attachment.

First sentence under Please Note may be handy too.

The great and amazing coders who developed the app/site for axis started with the preconceived assumption that every single axis customer would have a savings acct. So if you don't have one and only have credit card, you cannot even know your cust ID from those options.

Wait, so you mean we cannot see all our cards on a single dashboard and need to log in afresh to toggle between Axis and Citi cards? Surely that cannot be right, even by Axis’ abysmal standards? Or have I misread what you wrote?

You read me right.

Not toggle.
Standalone log ins has been my experience.

When so many were saying they could see all cards at one go on the app or something, I got onto web and discovered this 'First Time Log in for Former Citi Bank Customer'.

That's how I discovered and recovered my citibank customer id, after checking how to, by digging through all the old migration emails.

Which Card CITI IKEA thha ?

CITI IKEA walo ke saath same scam hua, jitno se phucha🤣
Connected with Citi sorry Axis customer care team.
and they said, they are still in the process of updating the credit limit for customers and asked me to wait for a few more days.

Don't know. but I felt that after hearing I used to be a Citi customer, the Axis customer care representative started fumbling and became more conscious of what she was saying.

I can see my old Citi ccs and Axis cc in the Axis Open Mobile app. No issues. Prior to migration, I had only 1cc, Airtel one. SB a/c in Citi and 2 ccs from them.

Might be true. I have got couple of SMS stating CLI on both my Citi cards (Citi Limit+Axis Limit). Even though the limits were updated in the app yesterday, got the msg today only.
