The new Axis Bank credit cards look good if we consider their benefits. However, in terms of rewards, even the Axis Olympus card has many exclusions. Despite this, it is still a good card for international spending. In terms of reliability, Axis Bank doesn't come close to Citibank. This is the main reason almost all Citibank customers were very unhappy with the Citibank and Axis Bank deal earlier last year. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything but accept this migration. If you don't want to continue with your Citibank cards, you can close them; you will not be charged any renewal or migration fees at this time. Renewal fees will be levied at the usual time of your card renewal. The Citi PremierMiles and Citi Prestige cards were some of the best and most reliable for accumulating air miles. Personally, I will never rely on Axis Bank, as they can send you notices and ask for transaction clarifications from the past year, even for very small amounts.

This is the end of an era.

I think those who had a combined limit below 10 lakhs got it combined automatically.

But in your case it would have become more than 10 lakh so they kept it at 9.85
I don't think so. mine combined limit if they do wil be under 6L... not done... this waiting seems never ending..

I also reached out to Axis PNO regarding the unmerged limits of my Citi and Axis cards. Today, I received a call from Axis, during which they informed me that the customer IDs for my Citi and Axis cards are different and that the merger process is still ongoing. They assured me that once the merger is complete, the limits will also be combined.

During the call, I requested them to provide my customer IDs for both cards, but they declined. I pointed out that since I can see both cards in the Axis Open app, they should be merged, but they did not provide a satisfactory response. Unaware of my customer IDs for both cards, I agreed to their suggestion to wait for a limit merged intimation mail from their end.

After the call, I sent an SMS to inquire about my customer IDs for both cards and received the same customer ID for both, indicating that both cards are already linked to a single customer ID.

Just received a reply to my email inquiry. It stated that I would receive a notification on my registered email once the credit limits are merged, without any mention of the differing customer ID story.

I received my customer ids on email. And the email stated that there are multiple customer ids associated with my number, dont know the reason why.

But all my cards are showing under 1 particular customer id only.

For me also same response.. but they mentioned CIF mergers are not done.. CIF means Customer Information File..
Not sure if it means data is not transfered yet like cc statements..

Can we get past months citi cc statements in axis app ?

Axis reporting all closed Citi cards in CIBIL now. In July 2024 I have received Axis bank statement for Horizon Card (Citi Premier Miles Card which was closed last year) and damaged Axis Bank Olympus (Which was replaced to Mastercard world Elite from Visa Infinite). I have approached Axis customer care and they have told that this is due to migration and there won't be any problem, but now they reported all cards to CIBIL now.I totally hold 2 Axis bank cards and Axis has reported 5 cards to CIBIL now.

Axis does things Axis way 🪓

Has anyone used AXIS30 in Swiggy for Citibank Indian Oil Card which is now Axis Bank Premium Indian Oil Card. I am getting the benefit of the code twice a month with the above card although the code is applicable for Axis Bank Rewards Card.

So my Citi Rewards cc which was migrated to Axis Rewards has an annual renewal for October and is set to expire in October 2027. I got an SMS today from Axis, saying that my new Axis card will be dispatched shortly, which is my Axis Rewards card. Now for the last year, after migration they kept the annual spend for fee waiver limit as 30k basis Citi Bank rewards TnC and I was not charged in October'24 since I completed the spend.
My question is, will the new card that will be sent by axis ( Axis Rewards) have the new minimum spend criteria for fee waiver? Has anyone else received their new cards? If yes was the TnC updated to Axis TnC? Also was anything else changed in the new TnC like minimum spend for lounge, etc?

My Citi card was LTF so new Axis card will also be LTF.
Ok, and what about other benefits? . Citi migrated cards have different benefits as of now, that Axis cards. Did those benefits change to Axis? Basically for how long will they consider the cards as 2 categories? At some point Axis will want to consolidate all benefits under Axis cards only.

As per the customer care when I receive the Axis Credit Card (Physically) it will be considered a renewal of old card and t&c of old card will be applied which in my case is for Citi IOCL annual fee waiver at 30k but after I receive the new Axis CC the t&c of new card will apply which is annual fee waiver of 1lk.

So I think you might need to check with the customer care for your case as if it is considered renewal then you would need to do spends but it is not an anniversary year. So you must confirm.

If you are relying on the information told while the migration was going on then you might consider asking the customer care again as now they are saying that after new card is received the t&cs of new card will apply. I am holding mine for 1 year but then will fight and maybe request closure for any retention bonus or something.

I guess I will have to wait and see what the documentation with the physical card says. Oct'24 is anniversary year, but card is not renewal since card expiry is in Oct'27. So it should be replaced of existing card.

It would be safe to ask beforehand maybe just drop them an email. I am saying this as Axis's systems are not as robust and they may accidentally charge the renewal fees and the customer care would justify the fees and you would be wasting a lot of time due to that. So keeping an email proof so that if it happens you are safe.

Ok, makes sense. Thanks

T&C of new card are already applicable. Only the physical replacement of citi card with Axis card is pending.
