The new Axis Bank credit cards look good if we consider their benefits. However, in terms of rewards, even the Axis Olympus card has many exclusions. Despite this, it is still a good card for international spending. In terms of reliability, Axis Bank doesn't come close to Citibank. This is the main reason almost all Citibank customers were very unhappy with the Citibank and Axis Bank deal earlier last year. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything but accept this migration. If you don't want to continue with your Citibank cards, you can close them; you will not be charged any renewal or migration fees at this time. Renewal fees will be levied at the usual time of your card renewal. The Citi PremierMiles and Citi Prestige cards were some of the best and most reliable for accumulating air miles. Personally, I will never rely on Axis Bank, as they can send you notices and ask for transaction clarifications from the past year, even for very small amounts.

This is the end of an era.

Don't worry axis will ask for proofs in this card also...jab atlas air magnus to nhi chorda to isko kya chordega...
Yeah, that's the only thing. Otherwise, Axis has continued launching broken cards - First olympus and now this.

Today saw a guy posting some pdf where new burgundy debit card was giving 10 edge points per 100 only for Citi Bank customers🤦‍♂️.

Cashback card T&C clearly mentions welcome benefit is not applicable for cards migrated from "other platforms" (Citi). Horizon card T&Cs don't mention any such thing. Hoping for a glitch in Axis systems that will credit all PremierMiles to Horizon migrations 5000 EM welcome benefit :)

though new card might get delivered before the year closes.. but new card benefits will be applicable on existing citi cards.

Your Citi-branded Credit Card will continue to work seamlessly till you receive your new Axis Bank Credit Card before the end of this year. Meanwhile, you can start enjoying all the benefits of your new card with the existing Citi-branded Credit Card, from the migration date itself.

Yes, 15th July onwards as per the communication we can use new card benefits but I do not understand how they separate these points..

Your accumulated miles earned until the migration date will be converted to Axis Bank EDGE Miles. Rest assured, the value and benefits of these accumulated miles will remain the same and they will never expire.

Axis Bank EDGE Miles earned after migration will have a validity of 3 years and there will be a revision to the miles transfer program.

With 7% cashback, this card will be in more demand than sbi cb and hdfc swiggy. Only travel is excluded from 7% (apart from all usual ones which are excluded by sbi too).

Yeah, checked it. 4000 on 70.7K. Still slightly better than SBI CB 5%.

Plus SBI CB is long due for devaluation 😉. Axis one will last at least a year since it is launched just now.

Having said that, I have LTF MB, so mostly will stay with that for now. Plus maintaining invoices with axis is real big problem. Avoiding big transactions on it since almost 6 months now.

Annual Fee adjust karke bass 5.5% haath aayega if monthly spends are 70,700🤣

Cashback SBI ke devaluation ke baad Comparision karna padega.

Abhi toh bekar hai Axis Cashback

Fee is annual only. Why considering every month? And it's with sbi too.
(Not talking about special cases where people got converted them LTF)

And fee waiver at 4L is not that difficult with a card offering 5% cb.

I have this LTF Citibank card. Any idea what will I get?

I already have 3 Axis cards.

* AXIS My Zone LTF.
* Axis Ace (got 3 months ago when Axis Airtel was not being offered to me)
* Axis Airtel (got 10 days ago)

I don't have much use of Axis Ace now, when should I close it?

I had Axis Flipkart in past but I closed it last year.

I have also been given "Axis Bank REWARDS Credit Card" as my new card. Mail received just now. I already have SBI CB card and I am happy with it. I don't spend that much to reach in 7% slab. BUT my Citibank card is LTF, and mail mentions "Your card will continue to be life-time free with zero annual fee." So, no harm in keeping it.

PS: In the meantime, I had closed my Axis Ace credit card few days ago.
