Closed HDFC Moneyback+ in hope for Millenia or more

Hi, so I had got a preapproved Moneyback+ over an year ago (about 2021) and I took it. I asked for an upgrade but I kept it on suggestion of my then RM who promised me an upgrade after 6 months of usage. I was busy with some stuff anyway back then and didn't have time to argue.

I already had IDFC Millenia with 1.6L, and ICICI Sapphiro Dual with 10L limit shared with ICICI APay back then. I was maintaining a good 10L AMB with HDFC back then as well with a Preferred account and did not bother to use Moneyback besides a few times as the rewards were loathsome and the limit was 50k only. Bought my iPhone and my G14 laptop with APay as this card was useless due to the limit as well the rewards.

Fast forward, the RM changed in the background and I finally got some time and messaged the grievance redressal team and the usual things. I hoped for a Millenia as it fit my needs and spends perfectly.

They did not budge and asked me for my docs, I sent them and threatened them to cancel the card. And you guessed it, they did cancel it and the RM called me to sell a useless ULIP while telling me to apply 3 months later.

Now, I just got an AMEX MRCC with 2L limit and Airtel Axis with 5L limit after that with no docs and 2 CIBIL hits. CIBIL Is 785.

My question is, can I reapply before 3 months without getting a CIBIL hit (Just had two and don't want another). I can submit ITR with 10L. And is there a better card in terms of rewards (I travel sometimes, almost exclusively order everything online, no fuel needed as electric)

Yes you can re-apply but not without cibil hit. Try offline

I'm in same situation but threated them to cancel but they didn't cancelled it. I'm panning to cancel this card after this festive season.

Without CIBIL hit it's not possible to get card. They will definitely hit CIBIL for online/offline application.

There is 50/50 chance, Only if you are able to negotiate with BM to get Millenia without hit. It totally depends on BM & relationship with bank.

If you really need the card its better to apply offline after 2 months.

Got 3 hits this year and don't want another especially without any guarantee. The BM as always won't value me until I increase my NRV with them which I really don't want to at this point. But I am willing to wait if its the only way.
