Companion card for Axis Magnus

Hi all,

What card do you all use as the companion card for Magnus to use once the 1L milestone has been achieved or during months where you expect your Magnus spend will be very low?
I understand most will be using Reserve or Infinia or DCB but what are the other options for those who don't have these ultra/super premium cards?

Apologies if there is a specific thread on this subject I searched but could not find one.

why companion card, continue to use it fully, so that 15L spent achieved for annual fee waiver

Infinia for flat 3.3% or better still vouchers bought from prior months using Magnus or infinia after hitting the milestone of 1l

Also.remember that fee waiver for Magnus is an important one to. Achieve

I continue using my Magnus even after 1 lakh is breached.
Occasionally either user SC Ultimate or DCB (since I dnt have an Infinia)

In my view best is to use Amex Plat Travel. Get 48000 MR points (conversion into 48000 Marriott points or 24000 Taj vouchers) and 10000 Taj voucher for spending 4 lakhs in a year. No hassle of monthly milestones.
I only use Magnus and Plat Travel. Hdfc diners is rarely used now. Even Magnus I don’t stop at 1 lakh as reaching 15 lakh in year will lead to annual fee reversal.

Thank you and well if I had a choice I would only use Amex cards. However I live in a tier 2 city and a tier 3 town and the acceptance rates are pathetic. I hold Gold and MRCC for the past 11 years and regularly meet both milestones...

I know it is difficult to hit the 15 lakhs so I am not aiming for that... And actually I do have use for 10K TataCliq voucher.
