So for paying HDFC cc bill through millenia debit card, we can now pay through paytm wallet / or directly pay through debit card on mobikwik/paytm. All these ways would fetch 1% cashback (after 90 days).
Try to understand, Paytm keeps changing its MCC quite frequently. Right now, its MCC is 6051, which is not excluded, and you will get 2.5% for credit card bill payments. However, if Paytm changes the MCC silently, what will you do? 😁

Tried adding my ICICI card to HDFC bill pay. It's throwing error on payment
Tried direct payment from millennia debit card on Paytm. It's saying mastercard dc not allowed as ICICI is visa one.
Only option remains is loading money in Paytm wallet through millennia dc and then pay

Paytm became totally useless for me. They doesn't support Mastercard of any bank for credit card payment plus they blocked me to add wallet balance via credit card. And one more confusion, If I pay credit card bill directly in Paytm via millennia visa debit card, Will I get 1% cashback or not? Nobody could answer that properly till now.
