Hi,

I'm planning to visit Coorg, and looking for good resort with 7-8K/night max for relaxation. I found this which looks good, along with others like :

• Hotel Coorg International
• Jungle Hill Resort
• Hill Crest Resort, Coorg - By Seventhwave -> Read review it has bathroom issue
• Gokulam Grand Resort & Spa, Coorg
• Old Kent Estates

Any good suggestion about any of above or any other hotel from personal experience ?

You can't go wrong, both Taj and Marriott properties are beautiful there.

Get the one that you're getting a better deal on.

Taj is much more spacious (rooms) and great than Marriott but Marriott trumps in price proposition if staying for 5 Nights !

Rooms wise Taj starts from 79 sm , 93 sm , 130 sm while Marriott have from 60 sm and ascending .

Taj is 180 acres in total while Marriott is 35 acres !

I have stayed in Taj in 2017. Excellent property, will plan for Marriott soon.



Back then shot on iPhone 7, night camera quality was not so great.

Can you share more details about your booking/planning for Coorg Marriott, points used and dos and donts. I am planning something around April.
