I have ICICI platinum card LTF, now I m getting offer that coral rupay LTF . Is it wise to accept it and close platinum as I don't want many credit account in my history. I m using platinum card mostly to buy in Amazon or Flipkart offers
Will rupay work there

I dont have a Rupay or a core ICICI card except Amazon pay, I messaged them on Twitter, they are offering Coral Rupay but paid version.

Is it worth getting it? It will be my first Rupay card in my portfolio.

And will getting this Coral Rupay card have a chance to get better pre-approved cards from ICICI later?

Open Imobile app and check any pre-approved offer you will get or not for RuPay Coral LTF.

also check ICICI net banking "Loan" section, there pre-approved RuPay Coral LTF will show.

Last thing, uninstall imobile app and reinstall. Some people got pre-approved RuPay Coral LTF after reinstall imobile app (also update the app).

Yes. you can apply 3 add-on Coral RuPay LTF cards too.

I think You can use UPI only in your primary card
There is no UPI facility for addon card

I don't see an issue with having many credit accounts unless you are really not comfortable with it for some reasons. If you keep both cards, you will have the chance to take advantage of some offer/discount from both cards if you ever need. Otherwise you can close the platinum card as I don't see something that you will miss out on. I generally never close any LTF cards as there's no harm in just keeping it in a corner even if you never use it.

I have one more query related to ICICI shared gemstone cards -
They say that Lounge access is free on my Sapphiro card if I spend a minimum of Rs 5000 in the previous quarter. So far OK.
Now, I took a Coral card. That card also has lounge access.
But do I need to spend any amount separately on the Coral card to get lounge access, or the spend on Sapphiro is counted for Coral also?

I was under the impression that you get shared credit limit with ICICI cards.

However, after getting a coral rupay LTF card, the available limit on the coral, which is the same as my other card, is showing as entirely available even though the other card shows some amount as utilised.

OTOH in my axis cards the limits reduce on all cards whenever I make any spends.

Is this an error or is the limit not shared anymore?
