Hi,

I got mail from Standard Chartered bank stating “credit card payment through third-party platforms may no longer be supported” 😅.

Only payment from official app and website is allowed.

It's nothing to worry.
Previously apps used to work on IMPS NEFT method to process CC bills.

Now apps have moved to BBPS system, but SC isn't BBPS enabled that's why this email.

Apps like CheQ, Cred, Mobikwik, etc still supporting NEFT method, so you can pay bills on these apps without worrying.

Could be marked as solution.

Bro, How about asking the admin to put a DISCLAIMER alarming THE HELP-SEEKERS/NEW USERS to go through the threads in first place in order to find answers to their queries and/or not to repeat the questions which may have already been discussed here. It might satisfy you or like-minded people.

Asking a question is not a problem here. Asking it again and again when already many have confirmed him already in same topic is a problem and should be. I am sorry if he got harsh reality check or offended people like you. It is true that never show sunlight to those who loves darkness more. 🙂

So, Standard Chartered bank no longer supports paying through cred. They are giving me an option to pay through billdesk, but somehow that payment option isn't working as well. Clicking on next isn't taking me to the next page, after putting card details... So, will it be okay if I pay the bill through ICICI bank bill payment portal, after adding this card under biller? Is that the NEFT option?

Cred, CheQ and Amazon - all have stopped payment for SC Cards.

I finally paid via Mobikwik as for me payment via BillDesk was failing - Format error.

Let's hope it goes well.

Hahah! It seems even payment from SCB bank account is not supported by SCB cards anymore. My auto payment instructions that worked without any problem for many years did not happen the last 2 months. Only reason given by SCB is "SCB rejected".

Try it on a laptop, it should work.

Hi can you please confirm if icici is working ? My die date is tomorrow and my app is locked and I don't have my card details except the card number with me. No third party app is supporting 😕
