Credit Card payment using IDFC First Pay

Hello Guys,

So, here is a situation that I have gotten myself into.

I was trying the IDFC First Mobile app > Pay section > Pay Credit Card Bills of other bank

I used IDFC First app to pay the Axis Bank Credit Card Bill. (I think they use Bharat BillPay - could see the icon)

Now the situation is that Money is deducted from my bank account but not deposited in Axis Bank Credit Card. Paid over the weekend and it has been 2 days. I hope I have not costed myself a financially huge hit.
There is no way to track the payment on the IDFC app. I can just see the payment going through in my bank statement.


Has anyone used IDFC First app or any bank account app to pay Credit card bills of other? What should my course of action be here? IDFC Customer care is also clueless -says it takes 3-5 days.

Paying axis CC from HDFC bill pay also takes 3-4 working days.. so you need to wait and check...

Since it was a weekend i think you need to wait for at least 2 business days for payment to reflect

@ross999 How long did it took for your payment to reflect? I also did a bill payment for HDFC credit card using IDFC bill pay 3 days ago and waiting for it to reflect yet.

Hi @eshankvaish it took 3-4 days for my payment to reflect. Like I paid on Saturday, the payment was credited on Tuesday.

What is advantage of doing via this route? Any additional points as I understand one needs to have money in IDFC acct to pay?

I gave it a try expecting 250 reward points as per the offer on the first rewards site. Although I'm not sure atm but wanted to try it.

Yep, I got 250 points today itself. As mentioned in the screenshot, it is for 1st payment each month only

The IDFC debit card is also rewarding. I am trying to figure out a way to pay using IDFC first debit card without hassle.

Paytm used to allow it around a month back.

For smaller transactions (2k-3k) Paytm allowed using the Debit card. But for 29k transaction it kept showing me an error.

Can you provide step by step instruction on how you paid CC bill using IDFC Bill pay? I am getting only the payment through account option and I don't see option to select debit card. Can you help?
