Credit Limit Enhancement Without Pre Approved offer and Income Documents

I want to know methods of getting credit limit enhancement without income documents or any kind of pre approved offer. I know few method based on conversation in this form.

1. HDFC increase limit on C2C basis. But how limit is provided if a card with 4.9 lacs limit is provided.

2. SBI. Getting a additional SBI card and transferring its limit to existing card.

Any other method of any bank?

Will Axis shares limit across all its cards if I get high variant Magnus card. I already have Indian Oil and Flipkart with max limit 2.5 lacs. I have applied for Magnus. Objective is to cross 5Lacs limit on existing cards.

If the conduct is satisfactory, no delay default in payment should not they automatically increase limit? SBI and Citi did it in my case. Axis insists on documents.

True, each bank follows their own strategy..at some point of time they would want to know more about the customer first hand for derisking purposes

Both cards , got sms /mail to give consent if interested in availing LE , the limite are on lowers side as compared to what people post here, but nonetheless, the gesture was there.

Automatic LE in Axis & HDFC is like KL Rahul's batting. Disappointing and frustrating at times, but a sigh of relief when a few good knocks are played. 😉

Can you pls specify auto LE periods in Axis and Hdfc (how many months after the cards are issued) ?
Got no LE in hdfc already been 9 months. 🙂
