DBS Credit card query

I have a 7 year old account with them. I don't do many transactions, maintain about 20-50k mab. Use occasionally for UPI transactions wherever Rupay CC is not accepted. No issues faced so far.
Account is not problem

Legend focus is on qauter century of credit card

Still thinking if I should open the account. Would like to wait and see if others offer any more information. I also recently opened Axis liberty for the same purpose
Axis will be a sure choice to get pre-approval. DBS not so much. Speaking from personal experience since I am 19 myself and have Axis Privilege LTF and Axis Atlas

Let’s see how it goes then 🫣 Maintaining 50-60k and will do some debit card spends I suppose

I opened Axis Priority and was maintaining MAB. I got Privilege fyf but was charged so I raised complaint. Then they made it LTF for some reason lol. Too bad the card is useless now.

Doesn’t hurt to have a lifetime free card 😆 How long did it take for the offer to appear? Were your spends frequent?

I tried applying for the Privilege card before opening the account but was denied twice. After opening account denied again when applied via RM. Then, I waited for 3 months and applied again. This time I got a call from another Axis Branch and they sent over a Physical KYC agent. He just took a photo of me, verified home address and left. Got approved the next day.

I suggest only applying for the most basic Axis core cards when it’s your first Axis card since upgrades are extremely easy with Axis. After you get your first card you can get most other Axis cards in the ‘Apply Now’ section in a month.

Guess I’ll wait for a couple months and apply via branch

@Shobhit Srivastava Just found out from their card member agreement that the minimum age is 18. Should I call them up to make sure?
Brother are u sure u read 18th as I have read and asked my bank employee as well it is 21 and pre-approved offer u will get within 6 months of fair usage and for Cibil hit it will not matter if its pre-approved unless you have negative or no Cibil score, as DBS is a foreign bank and most foreign bank prefer giving card to salaried if account with them or if salaried but already holding card from any other bank with good score, so prefer getting first card from top four i.e. HDFC, SBI, ICICI and Axis

The card member agreement does say 18 but I don’t know what their underlying conditions are. Haven’t opened the account yet for this reason
