DCB add-on card lounge issue

Recently I was in Azerbaijan airport lounge and used the add-on card of my wife for her entry and the virtual PP i created using DCB for myself and it was smooth.

The couple standing behind us also had DCB and they refused the add-on card saying that its the same card number, so only one of them could get in. I told him to do this virtual PP stuff but he was skeptical.

Anyhow, I wanted to check if anyone faced such an issue? Cos i swiped both the card with same number at delhi T3 lounge and it went through.

I recently got my DCB Metal (Along with add on for wife - Same card number, CVV etc.,)
I have activated virtual PP for ME as per this forum advice. (Great Thanksss)

Question 1:
BUT - I have a kid 6+ & travelling via 2 transits to US next month.
Now i hope myself & my wife can use primary + add on (or Virtual PP),
But what do i do for my KID????

Please advice. (Dont tell me to go for another CC)
HELP me with some clarity....!

Question 2:
Though we have same card numbers for add on, can i still activate virtual PP for my wife in a new login? (same DCB card number)

Q 1: I think u ll have to pay for kid's entry. Some lounges allow PP for kids even if its not in their name. I have used both our DCB cards(Primary & Add-on) for me and wife and we had PP from Axis which was in my Wife's name. We used that for our Kid.

Q 2: I don't think a new login with same card number will be allowed. No harm trying.
